Hi Cherish,
Being the natural magpies that we all are ("oooooohhhh . . . shiny things" as an unseen gravitational force draws us to new costume pieces on fellow dancers ;) do you know if Paulette will be bringing lots of goodies to sell?
Or do you have any other vendors coming? Give us a bit of a heads up re the vending if possible please :)
(Basically, should I just not pay the water bill? Or put an ad on ebay for my first born male? Just need to be prepared! LOL)

Re: Will there be lots of shiny things???
Sat, July 29, 2006 - 7:03 AMYes, Paulette will be vending as well as Benu Dance Company (the same fine Nebraska folks who were vending last year).
I know what you mean about the whole, "buying neighborhoods". I recently got into an argument about whether bellydance or triathlon is more expensive...and I realized even if I did buy a specialized bike (~$2000), I'll still have spend only a fraction on triathlon what I've spent on bellydance over the past five years...especially when you take into account all the workshops and privates I've done! -

Re: Will there be lots of shiny things???
Sat, July 29, 2006 - 7:31 AMI thought Barb and Michele were vending cause they were chatting about what Fargo girls want. SO if anyone has certain things they are looking for..they might provide. Trust me, I live in their studio practically, they have a whole room full of wonderful treasures I've gotta look at all the time!
I can't imagine doing triathlon. You Go Cherish! Don't you have two kids? How do you stay on top of it all? Maybe you and I should have a chat when I get there. -

Re: Will there be lots of shiny things???
Mon, July 31, 2006 - 9:11 PMThis may sound hokey, but here goes . . . if anyone vending has any t-shirts/tank tops with troupe names on it? Those would be a great thing to pack along! I tend not to buy them online as I'm never sure about sizing (same goes for most costume pieces) Jewellery? Belts? No problem as I know that I can alter it in some way-shape-form.
But I know that I'd snap up just about most tank tops with logos . . . :)
Also, since I'm writing my wish list . . . do any of you potential vendors out there have any cuffs that are ridiculously huge? Huge like my "man" arms? (I'm ashamed to admit . . . no I'm not talking about "my man", but "my-man-arms", as in the Seinfeld episode "she has 'man hands' " LOL ;) I'm always on the hunt for cuffs that would fit my big honkin' wrists.
Oh, long fringe belts! Anybody still vending those? Those are always fun to stock up on :)
Other than that, just funky jewellery. We can never get enough of the shiny stuff . . .
Darcy :)

Re: Will there be lots of shiny things???
Mon, July 31, 2006 - 10:12 PMI know Barb and Michele has really nice tanks they had made when we changed our name.
Man cuffs, I have the same problem. Actually I believe alot of dancers have the same problem! I thinks we need a hardware store for our "western" hands.LOL
