How is everyone feeling about coming to Fargo over Labor Day weekend? I know it's a few months away, but I'm wondering how the turnout will be.

Thu, April 27, 2006 - 8:00 AMUnfortunately, I have to pass on this one. My friend Lisa is getting married in November, so I'll be in Fargo then. Just can't justify the cost of 2 plane tix to ND within a few months of each other. Sorry!! Hope you have a great turnout.

I wish I could say it was all planned out. I didn't get started on some of the planning until later this year because I was still trying to decide whether to hold the workshop. (I am going back to school full-time and wasn't sure I'd be able to devote the necessary time to doing this, but it appears it'll work.) So yeah, I had things completely ready to go much earlier last year.
I emailed Paulette last week to finalize workshop details, but I suspect she's at Tribal Fest and hasn't replied. I'm also waiting for some people to call me back about arrangements. It's hard to get a hold of me (or for me to call people back at sane hours) because I'm taking a 4-week class so I'm in class a good half the day. (Fortunately there's only three weeks left in this class.)
What I do know is that the format will be similar to last time. We'll have a picnic again on Friday night (although it will either be at my house or a much easier to find park). The workshop will probably be in the same place as last year. The other two places I had hoped to hold it were booked or undergoing construction. The show will be in the same place as last year.
There will be catering for lunch included in the workshop price.
So the big things I'm waiting on are the workshop schedule and the caterer. Once that is finished, I can post the registration forms and schedule.
I hope that helps. I really hoped to have this taken care of by now, but other people always factor into the equation. It'll be done as soon as I hear from Paulette and finalize the catering.
