I have one of her Dunyavi gypsy videos and I really enjoyed it. Beth (the MECDA prez) is really into Turkish dance, so since we all liked her and are impressed with her range of knowledge, we figured she'd make a great workshop instructor.

(She's also incredibly sweet on the phone...) :-)

Yes, there will be performance opportunties, although we're going to limit the number of performers this year and give preference to MECDA members (since it is a MECDA event).

We'll have performer guidelines ready when we've finished the arrangements with NDSU for how we're going to have things set up. (The Blue Lotus ladies have generously let us use their format for registering performers, so we should have *everything* you could possibly want to know written out in the performers agreement.) Once we finish the catering arrangements for lunch, we'll also have the workshop registrations available.

I really hope you ladies can make the trip. It's always such fun to see you! We now have a Thai restaurant in town, so we can move post show festivities there! :-D
