Hello there,
My name is Stephanie and I just returned from a work shop up in Kamloops B.C. with Sharon Moore who teaches GC. (Unfortunalty Sharon does not live close enough to my area to take regular lessons.) I have fallen in love with this "style" of dance. Sharon spoke about her mentor and teacher Paulette many times during the workshop. It turns out I will be in Mayville North Dakota in September to watch my son play football at Mayville university and so I am hoping to be able to attend Paulette's workshop that you are hosting while I am there.
I desperatly wish there was somone in my area who taught this style of dance!
I hope I can work out the details, it would be great to meet you all!
Stephanie

Thu, July 27, 2006 - 10:19 AMMy Husbands family all live in Winnipeg!!
I thought taking the Amtrak would be cheapest but not so!
It looks like the best way for me to get there will be to fly to Winnipeg and then get my son to drive up and get me and bring me down to Mayville and travel back and forth from the workshop with his truck from Mayville.
Now I just need a cheap flight!
I really hope to work this out, it would be great to meet you all:)

Re: From Langley B.C. Canada hoping to join Paulette's workshop!
Fri, July 28, 2006 - 4:09 PMOh yeah! I have found one problem in my quest for the woodchipper.. NO TREES IN FARGO.
I would love a picture of a woodchipper, especially in front of the big watertower. Sweet!
Love that movie! -

Re: From Langley B.C. Canada hoping to join Paulette's workshop!
Fri, July 28, 2006 - 9:03 PMIt was just the "twist" to the moment, especially when you saw the leg sticking out! That twist actually does rival "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." LOL

Fri, July 28, 2006 - 9:05 PMThere is an awful joke around here. Something about how there is a pretty girl behind every tree in North Dakota.....

Re: From Langley B.C. Canada hoping to join Paulette's workshop!
Sat, July 29, 2006 - 7:06 AMDamn! If only I'd known! I was on a bike ride and saw them doing tree cutting, complete with wood chipper the other day. I don't know if I could've gotten a picture with a water tower in the background, but I could've gotten the Radisson!
And there are trees in Fargo...just mostly on the north side of town. You'll see what I mean at the picnic. :-) -
