Pretty soon the semester is going to be over, and I'll be able to get to a project that's been hanging over my head: updating our website.

One thing I would like to add is a section where I can post rave reviews about us. :-D Actually, part of what I'm looking for is feedback. So, if you've taken a class or seen us perform, I'd really like to know what you thought...even if it's bad. (Objective feedback will help us to get better....)

I'd also like permission to post it on the website, if you're okay with it. (Admittedly I'm far more likely to put positive feedback on the website.) If not, no big deal, but I'd still like to know what people think. And if you want to post it or email it, either is fine with me.

So please consider sending me some feedback...

I can certainly send you feedback on your performance in Fargo - you ladies were awesome. I am working on TNT's website as well, so perhaps you might return the favor?

Not a problem. I'll try to get to it early next week. Sound good? :-)

      "you ladies were awesome."

      Now I'm blushing. :)

          Cool.

By the way, I don't know if you saw this, but you got some rave reviews from the Canadian folk as well:

That might be worth adding to your stash...

Cool. Thanks for forwarding along. They put Zura instead of Zuza - but otherwise very nice!

I will have to send them a thank you :)

If you email Yonisha, she'd probably correct it.

I had to do the same thing. Apparently they thought that the Shimmy Sisters were the ones who did the veil routine, which was funny since we were the only ones who used veils (other than her). :-D Anyway, she fixed it. I sort of wonder if she couldn't fathom us doing veils since we're tribal. :-)

Cherish and Sarah, I haven't seen you guys perform yet but I have to say your presence on the tribes is awesome, especially yours Cherish. You start lively conversations where ever you go on these sites. Amber Waves has more activity and conversation going on than most other tribes. & are there just the two of you to make your tribe? Your newest picture with the blue and white costume is awesome. What can I say? Amber Waves is out there! Are you coming to Tribal Revolution? I hope so~

Oh man, I SO wish. Unfortunately, Sarah couldn't get time off work, and some family stuff came up for me. LeAnn will be there, though. If it becomes an annual thing, though, next year I'm hoping we can all make it. :-)

Actually, there are currently four of us in Amber Waves, but two of them are romping around Europe and living it up.

Cherish - you could always perform with TNT. Five of us will be there. :)

Glad to hear LeAnn is going, although I think I already knew that...

That's sweet of you, but there's just no way I can make it now. My grandmother is pretty sick, and we've been trying to see her on the weekends, which has cut into our a budget a bit. Next year, though...

If you get a tape of the event, though, maybe I can come down to Minneapolis sometime and watch. :-)

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. You sound like you really have your heart and spirit in the right place. When the time is right to travel seems as though you'll now.

              Cherish,
I echo Ayido. Sorry to hear your grandmother is ill. I will send well wishes her way.

Thanks to you both. Unfortunately it's terminal, but I'm glad I've had some time to spend with her over the past few months. I guess that lately things have gotten much worse for her, so we've been stepping it up.

I was there this weekend, though, and showed her a tape of a couple pieces of the April show. She *really* likes the tribal dancing. I was sort of surprised. :-) But she watched a few of the dances and asked me a lot of questions about it. It really piqued her interest. :-)

                  hey cherish-

i'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. but it sounds like you are able to spend some quality time with her, and that's the best thing you can do.

i think it's soooo cool that you showed her the videos. and it's great that she was so interested in what you're doing! what a nice thing to be able to share with her.

Thanks Wendy. It was very cool that she enjoyed the video. I think it was a learning experience for her, and it was nice to have some common ground with her. :-)
