I'm thinking of trying to make at least one day of the Amel Tafsout workshop:

The only prices listed on the Jawaahir site are for the show: $25/ticket on Fri. and Sat., $23/ticket on Thurs. and Sun.
I emailed about the workshops, but I haven't received a response yet. As soon as I know something else, though, I'll definitely post it. -

I haven't heard what the workshops will be on. Let me know if y'all learn anything interesting. :-)
I am thinking I might try to see the show this weekend or next week since I'll be in St. Cloud most of the week.

Mon, July 25, 2005 - 9:07 AMMy friend says Amel is definitly not coming - something to do with British travel regulations, not US. Habiba fom Philadelphia will substitute for her for the first weekend, my friend isn't sure about the second. She didn't know about the workshop, I'm guessing that's off.
I've seen Habiba and taken a workshop from her, she specializes in Tunisian and is very good.
