The Bismarck Tribune did a great article on Sarah since she's teaching bellydancing in Bismarck this summer. It's at:
www.bismarcktribune.com/articl...f01.txt
I'll forwarn you that there were some errors (because the paper's policy is to not let people read the article before it's printed). Other than that, I thought it was really great. :-)

Re: Sarah is in the paper!
Mon, June 27, 2005 - 12:10 PMVery nice article. What were the errors?
And are you really performing at our Renfest? If so, is it the same weekend we are performing? :) -

Re: Sarah is in the paper!
Tue, June 28, 2005 - 4:45 AMThe biggest error I noticed was saying that Rachel Brice used to be a member of Fat Chance and now is a member of the "bellydancing all-stars". (I believe that comes from having "all-star" teams in sports.)
MECDANP is having a "group trip" on the Saturday of Middle Eastern Mirage. (Members who go on that day and their families get discounted tickets.) I don't know if we'll "perform" per se, but we'll probably do some dancing.
When are you going? -

Re: Sarah is in the paper!
Tue, June 28, 2005 - 8:40 AMWe will be performing that whole weekend - Aug 20 and 21. Not as TNT, but as members of the Guild of Oriental Dance. There will be 5 dances in each show, two shows each day. Anne and Sue are doing choreography for the one I am participating in.

Re: Sarah is in the paper!
Mon, June 27, 2005 - 2:20 PMThat is so great! I'm so glad she decided to teach out there. That article was really funny though.
"It would take more than damp to daunt her. She is a can-do person with the doo-doo.
But there's more: She's a doer with her dancing -- that other life of hers."
Too funny ;) -

Re: Sarah is in the paper!
Tue, June 28, 2005 - 4:46 AMIt was a good article. Very positive about the whole thing.
My favorite part was when she equated doing the gawahzee to pendulums swinging. It's true, but it was funny how she did it. :-D
