Does everyone like Labor Day weekend? Hate it? I know a lot of people like to do family stuff that weekend...but would people be able to come a week or two before that?

I didn't mind it on Labor Day weekend, but know it presented a conflict for many of the members of TNT. It might be worthwhile to consider a different date and see what happens... Then again, I really liked the fact that it was on a long weekend, so I didn't have to worry about taking too much time off work or rushing home at the end of the workshop.

That's why I liked it...and you did manage to get one more person up here than in April.

I sort of wonder if, to some extent, it really doesn't matter when I have it. Some people can make it, some won't. :-)

I'm just wondering because one of the potential teachers doesn't want to do it on Labor Day weekend...

And I'm pulling my hair out trying to decide who to bring...:-P

(Once I figure that out, the rest is easy.) :-)

What are the options? Maybe we can help. ;-)

BTW, Labor Day worked out great for me - didn't have to take so much time off from work.

"What are the options? Maybe we can help. ;-) "

Actually, because of scheduling and money issues, things may work out themselves. Some of the people on the coasts really have a different reality as far as what people will pay for workshops and shows in the midwest. I just hope I can find people who will have a broad appeal in the ATS community...and maybe a bit beyond.

But there is one more reply I'm waiting on. Depending on that, maybe I'll say if there's still a conflict. :-) (I hate to say anything in public until things are signed and sealed lest rumors spread that someone is coming here when, in fact, they're not...or that they don't want to come when they would actually like to.)

Everything I've heard is from people who were there and said it worked out...I haven't heard from anyone who wasn't there and would still liked to have attended (except for like 2 from Minneapolis)...so it's hard to say if my sample population is really an accurate representation. :-) KWIM?

So anyway, hold on a day or two and I'll let you know what I've come up with...

Our group loved it being on the long weekend. It made the weekend far less rushed for us coming down from the Great White North.

Realistically -- it will be a matter of who you bring in that will determine whether or not I would attend.
